Overview
Amplemarket integrates with Okta through the SAML 2.0 protocol, allowing your team to sign in to Amplemarket using their existing Okta credentials. Amplemarket is listed in the Okta App Catalog, so setup starts with a simple search-and-add, no custom SAML configuration required.
Once enabled, SSO is enforced for your organization. Users authenticate through Okta's login flow, giving your IT and security teams centralized control over who can access Amplemarket. Okta SSO is available on Amplemarket's Elite plan.
It is important to note that user provisioning is not currently supported. All users must have existing Amplemarket accounts before SSO is enabled. Once SSO is active, any team member not assigned to the Amplemarket app in Okta will lose access to the platform.
What you can do
- SAML 2.0 single sign-on Authenticate Amplemarket users through Okta's identity platform using the industry-standard SAML 2.0 protocol.
- Centralized access management Control who on your team can access Amplemarket directly from Okta by assigning users or groups to the Amplemarket application.
- One-click app catalog setup Amplemarket is listed in the Okta App Catalog. Search "Amplemarket," click "Add Integration," and the SAML configuration is pre-populated.
- Enforce security policies Apply your organization's existing Okta authentication policies, including MFA requirements and session rules, to Amplemarket access.
How it works
- Add Amplemarket in Okta Log in to your Okta admin console, open the App Catalog, search for "Amplemarket," and click "Add Integration." This creates the SAML 2.0 application with pre-configured settings.
- Assign users and copy metadata Assign individual users or groups to the Amplemarket application in Okta. All assigned users must already have existing Amplemarket accounts. Then navigate to the SAML 2.0 section of the app settings and copy the "Metadata URL."
- Enable SSO Share the copied Metadata URL with the Amplemarket team. They will enable SSO for your organization. Once active, all authentication routes through Okta. Users not assigned in Okta will no longer be able to access Amplemarket.
Use cases
Enforce consistent access policies across your sales stack
Your security team requires every SaaS tool to authenticate through Okta with MFA enabled. Adding Amplemarket to Okta means your sales engagement platform follows the same access policies as the rest of your tool stack. No separate passwords, no exceptions to your security posture.
Streamline onboarding and offboarding for sales teams
When a new SDR joins, your IT team assigns them to the Amplemarket app in Okta alongside their other tools. When someone leaves, removing their Okta assignment immediately revokes Amplemarket access. This keeps user management centralized and reduces the risk of orphaned accounts.
Frequently asked questions
What Amplemarket plan is required for Okta SSO?
Okta SSO is available on Amplemarket's Elite plan. Contact your account manager or Amplemarket's sales team to confirm your plan eligibility.
Does Okta automatically create new Amplemarket user accounts?
No. User provisioning is not currently supported. Users must already have active Amplemarket accounts before you assign them to the Amplemarket app in Okta. Assigning someone in Okta who does not have an Amplemarket account will not create one.
What happens to users who are not assigned to Amplemarket in Okta?
Once SSO is enabled for your organization, any user who is not assigned to the Amplemarket application in Okta will lose access to Amplemarket. Make sure all active users are assigned in Okta before requesting SSO activation.
What permissions do I need to set up the Okta integration?
You need admin access in both Amplemarket and Okta. In Okta, you need sufficient privileges to add applications from the App Catalog and assign users or groups.
Can I use Okta alongside other login methods?
Once SAML SSO through Okta is enabled for your organization, it becomes the required authentication method. Users will authenticate through Okta's login flow rather than signing in directly to Amplemarket.
