Overview

Amplemarket supports single sign-on through Google Workspace using the SAML protocol, allowing your team to authenticate with their existing Google accounts. Your G-Suite admin configures Amplemarket as a custom SAML app in the Google admin console, and once enabled, users sign in to Amplemarket through Google's standard authentication flow.

Google SSO is available on Amplemarket's Elite plan. For organizations already running on Google Workspace, this is a straightforward way to bring Amplemarket under your existing identity management without introducing a separate identity provider like Okta. If your organization needs to manage SSO across dozens of tools with advanced provisioning and group-based access controls, the Okta integration may be a better fit.

What you can do

  • SAML-based single sign-on Authenticate Amplemarket users through Google Workspace using the SAML protocol, eliminating the need for separate Amplemarket passwords.
  • Leverage existing Google accounts Your team signs in with the same Google credentials they use for Gmail, Google Calendar, and other Workspace tools. No new accounts to manage.
  • Target specific groups When activating the SAML app in the Google admin console, you can choose to turn it on for everyone or target specific organizational groups.
  • Reduce credential sprawl One fewer password for your sales team to manage, and one fewer credential for your IT team to worry about in security reviews.

How it works

  1. Create the SAML app Log in to your G-Suite admin account at admin.google.com. Navigate to Apps, then SAML Apps. Click "Add App" and select "Add Custom SAML app." Enter "Amplemarket" as the application name.
  2. Download metadata and configure endpoints Download the IDP metadata file in XML format from Google. Then configure the Service Provider details with these endpoints:
    • ACS URL: https://app.amplemarket.com/users/auth/saml/callback
    • Entity ID: https://app.amplemarket.com/users/auth/saml/metadata
    • Name ID Format: Email
    • Name ID mapping: Basic Information, Primary Email
  3. Activate and send metadata In the app's options menu, choose "Turn on for everyone" or target specific organizational groups. Then send the downloaded IDP metadata XML file to the Amplemarket team to complete the activation.

Use cases

Unify login for Google Workspace-native teams

Your company runs entirely on Google Workspace, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet. Adding Amplemarket to Google SSO means your sales team signs in the same way they access every other tool. No password manager entries, no "forgot password" resets, just their Google account.

Simplify security for growing sales teams

As your sales org scales from 10 to 50 reps, managing individual Amplemarket credentials becomes impractical. Google SSO lets you control access through the Google admin console your IT team already uses, keeping authentication centralized as headcount grows.

Both provide SAML-based single sign-on for Amplemarket. Okta is pre-configured in the Okta App Catalog and better suited for enterprises managing SSO across many applications with advanced provisioning and policy controls.

No. Once Google SSO is enabled, your team authenticates through Google's login flow. They use their existing Google Workspace credentials to access Amplemarket.

Yes. When activating the Amplemarket SAML app in Google's admin console, you can choose to "Turn on for everyone" or target specific organizational groups. This lets you roll out SSO incrementally or limit it to specific teams.

After configuring the custom SAML app in your Google admin console, download the IDP metadata file in XML format and share it with the Amplemarket team. They'll enable SSO for your organization based on this metadata.
