What this workflow solves

When an email bounces, move the lead into a LinkedIn and call sequence.

A bounced email doesn't mean the lead is gone. It usually means the address is wrong, the inbox is full, or the domain is down. The person is still reachable, just not where you tried first.

This recipe catches every bounce the moment it happens and shifts the lead to a different channel so the conversation keeps going without anyone having to notice the bounce or pick a new motion.

How the workflow works

  • Trigger: Email bounced
  • Action: Adds the contact to a social and call sequence

How to set it up

This recipe is already available in Amplemarket. Open Workflows, click New workflow, and choose Switch to social if email bounces. The canvas loads with the trigger and action ready to configure.

  1. Click the Email bounced trigger. Pick which sequences should trigger the workflow, or leave it set to any sequence.
  2. Click into the Add contacts to sequence action. Pick your social and call sequence and choose how leads should be distributed.
  3. Hit Launch.
