What this workflow solves
When one contact books a meeting, remove or complete outreach for other contacts at the same account.
When one contact at an account books a meeting, the rest of your outreach to that account should stop. The deal is moving. Continuing to send cold sequences to other people at the company looks uncoordinated and undermines the conversation that's already started.
This recipe watches for engagement signals at the account level and automatically pulls back outreach to everyone else at the same company, so the account moves forward as one coordinated motion.
How the workflow works
- Trigger: Multiple events at the account level (such as meetings booked or interested replies)
- Action: Removes other contacts at the account from active sequences
- Action: Updates a CRM field to reflect the account's new status
How to set it up
This recipe is already available in Amplemarket. Open Workflows, click New workflow, and choose Stop outreach in engaged accounts. The canvas loads with the trigger and actions ready to configure.
- Click the Trigger block. The recipe is set up with multiple events that signal engagement at an account. Review them and adjust which events should pull back outreach for your team.
- Click into the Remove contacts from sequence action. Pick which sequences should stop, or leave it set to any sequence to pull back outreach across the board.
- Click into the Update CRM field action. Pick the field you want to update and set the value your team uses to flag an engaged account.
- Hit Launch.
