What this workflow solves
Send new CRM leads into different sequences based on company size, source, or segment.
Inbound leads don't all deserve the same outreach. A 5,000-person enterprise lead and a 20-person startup lead might fill out the same form, but they need different sequences, different reps, and a different pace. Without automation, leads sit in a queue until someone routes them by hand. The fast movers get reached late. The rest get the wrong motion.
This recipe routes every new inbound lead the moment they hit your CRM. It splits them by company size (or any criteria you choose) and drops them into the right sequence.
How the workflow works
- Trigger: Contact updated
- Paths: Route by company size, with three branches (Enterprise, Mid-market, Else)
- Each path: Adds the contact to a sequence built for that segment
How to set it up
This recipe is already available in Amplemarket. Open Workflows, click New workflow, and choose Sequence inbound leads by company size. The canvas loads with the trigger, paths, and actions ready to configure.
- Click the Contact updated trigger. Pick the CRM field that signals an inbound lead and set the value your team uses.
- Configure each path. Click into each branch and add at least one filter for the segment.
- Click into each "Add contacts to sequence" action. Pick the sequence and choose how leads should be distributed.
- Hit Launch.
