What this workflow solves

When a lead replies with a hard no, add them to your exclusion list automatically.

A hard no is a clear signal. The lead doesn't want to hear from you, and continuing to reach out wastes their time and yours. The problem is that hard no replies often slip through. The rep reads them, makes a mental note, and forgets to update the system. Two weeks later, a different rep starts another sequence to the same person.

This recipe catches every hard no the moment it lands and adds the contact to your exclusion list so no one on your team ever reaches out again.

How the workflow works

  • Trigger: Email replied or social replied with a Hard no label
  • Action: Adds the contact to the exclusion list

How to set it up

This recipe is already available in Amplemarket. Open Workflows, click New workflow, and choose Exclude leads who reply with a hard no. The canvas loads with the trigger and action ready to configure.

  1. Click the Trigger block. The recipe is set up with two events (email and social replies). For each event, set the Label filter to Hard no.
  2. Click into the Add to exclusion list action. Choose whether to exclude the contact's email (the default) or the entire account if you want to block the whole company from future outreach.
  3. Hit Launch.
